Set within the botanical beauty of Kew Gardens, this Kew Garden wedding was designed as a joyful celebration of colour, character and home. Taking cues from the garden setting, the design leaned into vibrant English varieties, layered with the couple’s shared love of interior design. Fabrics, prints and textures drawn directly from their own home created a feeling that was both elevated and deeply personal - less like a venue, more like an extension of who they are and how they live.
From the outset, the brief as their Kew Garden wedding planner was to create a welcoming, homely atmosphere filled with recognisable details. Cocktails were inspired by the couple’s favourite artworks, while during the ceremony guests took part in a meaningful ritual, passing and blessing the wedding bands as one of the couple’s most-loved songs played. Music continued to play a central role throughout the day, with a bespoke arrangement composed especially for the drinks reception by a close friend from the groom’s time working in the music industry, played in the atmospheric Princess of Wales Conservatory.
Personal storytelling was woven through every element. Custom illustrations of treasured objects and symbols representing their parents featured throughout the stationery (and even the lining of the groom’s suit!), adding layers of sentiment and charm. The result was a colourful, happy and heartfelt celebration - one that felt unmistakably them, set against one of London’s most iconic garden backdrops.
