“After a meeting with the Bijou Team, we realised instantly there was no way we could have our dream wedding without them… Alex and Emma guided us and made the guests feel like they were on a spectacular journey, every single guest we had said it was the best wedding they had been to. They took great care to incorporate Persian and English traditions.  Our wedding wasn’t simple, it was in a place which needed a lot of work, but everything was so perfect and thought out. Both Alex and Emma constantly made us feel like we were the only people they were speaking to. We felt so important, they responded almost instantly every time we had any queries or questions.  They were INCREDIBLE on the day. I felt like without Alex and Emma our wedding would have fallen apart. They truly took charge without intruding and made the day completely flawless. We can’t believe they were working on other weddings/projects at the same time. It felt like it was just us, always.” – P + R

When this lovely couple hired us as their wedding planners, they weren’t sure about the exact vision they had for their celebration. However, one thing they were certain about was their desire to steer clear of ‘standard’ wedding venues. To meet this requirement, we searched country-wide until we found the perfect location – The Grange wedding venue in Hampshire. This unique estate boasts a remarkable combination of faded glamour and stunning grounds; it inspired us to create an unforgettable event that perfectly captured the couple’s style.

The mystique of The Grange’s classical architecture and mystical painted floors offered the perfect backdrop to create a magical atmosphere. We incorporated modern florals and aesthetics to contrast with the historic style. The bride’s Persian heritage was carefully woven throughout the day, beginning with the Sofreh Aghd ceremony, a traditional Persian wedding ceremony symbolizing love, luck, and happiness.  We arranged an exquisite family-style Persian-influenced menu, followed by the Persian knife dance and cake-cutting. The bride and groom met at dentistry school, which inspired us to add some unique touches. We projected ‘hot lips’ images during the party and gave out teeth-shaped sweeties as a fun way to acknowledge their shared career path.

To add an extra element of mysticism to the wedding, we arranged for a tarot card reader during the evening celebrations. Every detail was carefully curated to create a memorable and unique experience for the couple, their families, and their friends in a truly unique setting.
