A Stylish Destination Wedding in the Heart of New York City
This elegant destination wedding brought together family and friends from England and across the United States for a heartfelt celebration in the heart of New York City. Set against the iconic backdrop of Central Park, the Loeb Boathouse provided the perfect setting for an intimate and stylish autumn wedding weekend.
Guests gathered in black tie as the bride, wearing a custom Danielle Frankel gown, shared a private first look with her groom before the ceremony. As the evening light softened over the park, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by loved ones who had travelled from both sides of the Atlantic to celebrate together.
Inside, the Boathouse was transformed into a warm and inviting autumnal setting filled with candlelight and seasonal florals. English garden-inspired arrangements nodded to the bride’s British roots while blending beautifully with the rich tones of a New York autumn. Long tables dressed in black velvet and lined with flickering taper candles created an intimate atmosphere for a family-style feast inspired by classic New York flavours - a subtle nod to the Thanksgiving weekend on which the couple chose to marry.
Following dinner, heartfelt toasts and family dances reflected the closeness of the couple and their guests, creating a celebration that felt both deeply personal and elegant. As the evening continued, the dance floor filled and the celebrations carried on late into the night - a joyful start to married life for this English Rose and her American Boy!
